Nobody chose the group chat. It arrived, it worked, and then the hotel grew past it.
No general manager decided to run their property out of a group chat. It arrived the way weather arrives, and by the time anyone noticed it was holding the arrivals, the complaints, the leak on the third floor and the only surviving record of a promise made to a guest at eleven at night.
